ED SIMME finances the doctoral student associations in a form of “retribution” for services: such as support to produce the directory, the follow-up of doctors and the preparation of the ED SIMME annual event JDD (day of doctoral students). ED SIMME can also award a grant for a project upon validation by the ED Council at the beginning of each year.
FRAP’ is the Federation of the associations of PPRIME, the president is Thibault CHOMMAUX () and includes all the Poitiers site doctoral associations.

AESM aims to create and develop communication and cohesion between doctoral students conducting research in materials science within the SP2MI. AESM particularly tries to ease integration for new doctoral students. It also offers activities of a scientific, sporting, cultural or social nature.
- ADDICT – Chairman : Tom FRIDLENDER –
The ADDICT brings together doctoral students from the D2 Department of Institute P’ around various activities. It is also a support to doctoral training and aims to ease doctoral students’ integration within of the department.
- MECAssoc’– Chairman : Nicolas ELIE –
MECAssoc’ is managed by doctoral students and aims to organize extra-professional events for members of the Mechanical Engineering and Complex Systems department of the PPRIME Institute.

L ‘ATEM (Association des Thésards de l’ENSMA Matériaux) is run by first year doctoral students and manages extra-professional activities.
